E-Safety Update
The NSPCC have launched a campaign to help parents learn how to keep their children safe when using devices, and it would be helpful if schools highlighted the attached advice in Newsletters or shared the link to the video on School Social media sites. This is particularly relevant as there has been a rise in the number of issues reported by primary schools linked to children on Social Media.
The NSPCC Advice is :-
- Watch and share our new campaign ad ‘Safety advice from a 10 year old.
- Alert schools to our e-safety pages which include teaching materials and Share Aware leaflets, our Keeping Children Safe Online training module in association with CEOP, and our parent workshops
- Visit our new Share Aware campaign web page (www.nspcc.org.uk)
- Tweet or post about the campaign. Assets and draft tweets and posts are attached.
